Bat & Moon - Midnight - 6x6
Bat & Moon - Midnight - 6x6
Charley Harper’s Bat, Bullfrog, and Bonfire first appeared in the Ford Times
magazine (1968), capturing a lively night scene along Kentucky’s South Fork
of the Cumberland River. For our 6x6 Motawi tile, we panned above the
bonfire and bullfrog to focus on one serene moment: a bat gliding beneath a
glowing moon. Harper’s original was painted in quiet grays, but we
reimagined the sky in deep, vivid blues, adding a spark of color to the
stillness. It’s a little square of midnight magic—nature’s hush, ready to hang
on your wall.
• Actual tile size: Approximately 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”. As each Motawi tile is
crafted by hand, dimensions may vary slightly by up to 1/16".
• Tiles are 5/8" thick and have a notch on the back for hanging.
